Secure Web Access
Secure Access with Single Sign-on
RSA Federated Identity Manager provides end users with secure access across multiple external applications through federated single sign-on (SSO).
RSA Federated Identity Manager is a standard-based method that enables end users to collaborate with business partners, outsourced service providers, supply chain partners, or across multiple offices or agencies – all with a single identity and logon. Federated Identity Manager is based on the web services standards, including XML, SOAP and SAML 2.0 and can be used to easily integrate, configure, and obtain more options for securely federating both employee and consumer identities.
RSA Federated Identity enables organizations to deploy:
- Web single sign-on so that users can easily move between applications within their environment with a single identity and logon.
- Attribute service puts organizations in control of the attributes that are captured on each user and how that information is shared and securely exchanged.
- Account linking enables self-service among end users to choose which accounts they would like to federate to and create the linkages between accounts themselves.
- X.509 Attribute Sharing Profile to allow dynamic retrieval of user attributes to facilitate access control decisions in real-time.
